Introducing Mike Williams
Hi, my name is Mike Williams. I'm married to Tara and I have 2 sons, Sean and Toby. I have been fishing most of my life, from a very young age I remember my father taking me fishing at various marks around the coast, mainly from Dungeness beach. It wasn't until approx. 20 years later that I started fishing from charter boats and once I started boat fishing I was hooked. I then bought an 18ft boat and over the years progressed up to my current boat, Fire Fox, which is an Evolution 38 charter boat based at Dover in Kent that I have been running for over 5 years. I also have a second boat that I'm building called 'Grey Fox'. The boat will be primarily geared up for bass and wreck fishing with lots of space on the deck that will only be hindered by a large bait tank. With my own love of fishing, you can be sure that I will always try my best to find the fish.
I'd like to think I have a pretty good track record with catches over the years - the biggest cod landed aboard Fire Fox to date at Dover is 29lbs with Plaice up to 7 1/2 lbs, Pollack up to 15 1/2 lbs and a Bass of 16 1/2 lbs which was ...
