Consultants 'Tip of the Week': Autumn Fishing
As summer gives way to autumn, you've obviously got to adapt and go with the changing season.
To some degree, everything depends on how quickly the temperatures and weather conditions collapse around you.
What I'm personally hoping for is a mild late September, early October so I can possibly have a last bash on the Kingfisher Lake at Lyng. These tend to switch off in the early days of June and not really come back onto the radar until the early days of October. All being well, I might have a few more bites at the cherry and, of course, the fishing times are a lot more civilized. No more getting up at three thirty a.m.
