Consultants 'Tip of the week': Locating Fish in Cold Weather

Fish do slow down as water temperatures collapse but that doesn't mean to say they switch off entirely and after a period of acclimatization, they are often at least as catchable.

All the same visual rules apply. Look for clouded water where cyprinids are stirring up the bottom. Look for 'flats' in a choppy surface.
