In 1953 a group of local anglers founded Ashton Keynes Angling Club to develop and promote the increasing number of gravel pits in the area. Since then the Club has grown and now controls some of the finest mixed coarse fishing in the Cotswold Water Park. All of the Club's waters offer general and specimen fishing for carp, pike, tench, bream, perch and roach.

Neighbridge Lake (Lake 56) has a purpose built swim with wheel chair access for the less able-bodied angler. There is easy access with close parking to many of the swims on some of the Club's lakes.

In addition to the 'members only' waters, two lakes are available for fishing on a day ticket basis. The first, Neighbridge lake is open all the year. The second, Large lake, is located within the Cotswold Country Park (formerly Keynes Country Park) and can be fished from 16 June to 14 March annually. Senior Citizens (65 years & over)

Up to 3 rods - £20.00

Day Tickets

Day tickets MUST be purchased BEFORE fishing. Any angler caught fishing WITHOUT a ticket will be in breach of Club regulations and liable to receive the appropriate action.

Neighbridge Lake (lake 56) - all year fishing. Fishing is allowed from 9 am until 9 pm on the date declared on the ticket.

Large lake (lake 32), located within the Cotswold Country Park - Fishing allowed ONLY from 16 June 2009 to 14 March 2010, when the Cotswold Country Park is OPEN to the public on the date declared on the ticket. (see below for opening times)

Cotswold Country Country Park opening times, when fishing is allowed for day ticket holders fishing Large Lake (lake 32):-

16 June until 31 August (inc) - 9.00am until 9.00pm
1 September until 30 September (inc) - 9.00am until 6.00pm
1 October until 14 March (inc) - 9.00am until 5.00pm
